How all three programmes are structured
Every course at Padi Finance follows the same structural logic: small cohorts of eight to twelve participants meeting once a week, each session building on the previous one. This is not a self-paced arrangement — the cohort moves together, and the discussion evolves as a shared understanding develops.
Each week includes a formal teaching segment, a workbook exercise, and a discussion period. The proportion shifts depending on the subject — some weeks are more conceptual, others more practical. The instructor sets the pace based on where the group's questions are directed.
All courses finish with a final session in which participants complete their personal summary document — a structured record of the key decisions, priorities, and frameworks relevant to their own situation. This is taken home and belongs to the participant.
Cohort model
Eight to twelve participants who progress together from first to final session. Not a drop-in class.
Workbook exercises
Printed workbooks designed for active use, with space to record the participant's own figures and notes.
Singapore-specific content
CPF mechanics, SRS rules, SGX instruments, and local tax considerations treated as primary content, not additions.
Personal summary document
Completed in the final session, reflecting the participant's actual situation and decisions made during the course.
COURSE 01 — 5 WEEKS
Cultivating a Household Financial Plan
A five-week course built around the metaphor of cultivation — patient, seasonal, and assembled step by step. This programme suits people who want to get a clear picture of their household's financial position and think through what the next decade requires.
The pace is unhurried. Workbook exercises are designed for reflection rather than speed. The small-cohort format encourages honest discussion, and participants often find that the questions asked by their peers are as valuable as the formal teaching.

COURSE 02 — 9 WEEKS
A Patient Introduction to Investing
Nine weeks on investing, designed for learners who find that most investing courses move faster than they would like, assume more prior knowledge than they have, or push toward conclusions before the concepts are properly understood.
Each week includes a short reading, a workbook segment, and a discussion period. The capstone session walks through a sample portfolio construction in the context of Singapore's investment framework — not to recommend anything, but to make the process concrete.

COURSE 03 — 7 WEEKS
Retirement Readiness Review
A seven-week course for people within roughly five years of their intended retirement date. The programme is built around the practical decisions and documentation that need to be in order before retirement — not general financial principles, but the specific mechanics of the Singapore retirement system.
Each participant finishes the programme with a personal retirement readiness document — a structured record of their position, decisions made, and items outstanding. This document is designed to be readable by family members and useful for ongoing reference.
